What is a Gravatar

A gravatar is an image of you, one that you you choose, which will show up when you comment on blog posts or sign into your website. Gravatars help identify who you are and once you add your gravatar your name is usually highlighted to take a reader directly to your site. A gravatar can help people identify with you and/or your brand.

Setting Up Your Gravatar

Sign up at Gravatar. This can be done quickly. A few things to remember:

• need to use an email address
• username is all lowercase
• can crop your image in the Gravatar website
• add your social media
• fill out your profile
